Angels on high

Well, tonight starts my first blog post, and it is appropriate that it is the night of Robbie and Katie's first Christmas pagent. Needless to say it was adorable. The 2 year olds were dressed as various farm animals, the 3 year olds were the angelic choir (yeah right) and the 4 year olds were shepards and such, and as the outgoing graduating class, they had the speaking parts. One boy so completely forgot his lines he stood there and literally grunted in frustration, and one girl's mother had to say her lines for her. Yes, this is preschool productions 101.

So, here are a few pictures from the evening.

Here we have the beautiful angel.

And here we have the reluctant angel.

Looks like a little pre-show conference

A group shot.

Notice, Katie is singing...Robbie isn't.

Interest is definitely fading at this point. The only way we even got him to do this was pure bribery. Historically, when there has been some kind of production like this for school, he starts crying madly and gets out of it. I told him that if he got up there (he didn't have to sing, just be there), then we would go get ice cream afterwards. As long as it worked, I'm happy.

Here's to many more school plays, and a blessed holiday season for all.
