My husband tripped Kenny Chesney!
Yes, leave it to us, but it did happen.
I had gone to the bathroom, and on my way back there was a big commotion, and I kept hearing people say "he went over there..." and such. I get back to my seat, and my husband, who is sitting in the aisle seat (we were in the lower bowl) said "I just tripped Kenny Chesney". I just looked at him and said "You've GOT to be kidding"
Apparently he was moving through the crowd while Gretchen Wilson was on stage, staying somewhat unnoticed, and then all of a sudden people realized who he was. (you have to understand there were a LOT of Chesney wannabes walking around, and some of them looked a LOT like him, so I'm not surprised he got away with it for a while) Once women realized it was him, it was a free-for-all trying to catch him LOL. Meanwhile, Rob sees all these people looking up his way, and camera flashes everywhere. He turns around to try and see what's going on, and his foot is out in the aisle a little, and the next thing he knows someone is tripping over his foot. He turns around, and sees Kenny Chesney with an "oh sh*t" look on his face, then he bolts LOL. Thankfully he wasn't hurt LOL.
Rob said Billy Squire (rocker from the 80's in case you are too young to know or too old to care) also came and sat down a couple of rows ahead of us and was talking to some people, then got up and left. Of course, I was gone that time too. Probably getting more beer LOL.
Concert was TONS of fun, especially the people watching. I know a lot of you aren't big country fans, but this was a great mix of more rocking music (like Gretchen Wilson singing Heart's Barracuda, and doing an AWESOME job of it) and good country music.
That was our celeb encounter.
Oh, and Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have been spotted around town, not far from where Rob works. Apparently they are living here. He joined Kenny on stage last night for a song, but no sign of Nicole.
Sorry, no pictures. We weren't sure if cameras were allowed, and I didn't have a strong enough zoom to do me much good anyway.
