He is 9wks old and a papered Black Lab. It is definitely like having a baby again. Rob will be taking him to training classes. Of course, while in puppy mode he is trying to chew anything he can find. Definitely making me keep the floor picked up more LOL And I've told the kids if they value their toys they will pick them up!
The cats are still trying to figure out what he's doing here, and when he's going away. He likes to corner them and try to get them to play with him, but their idea of playing at the moment is to hiss while he barks at them, then give him a good swat LOL.
I had to share some emails I received though. We picked Koda up from an online friend from one of my photography boards. She got his sister, so she had both pups for a week, and they definitely liked finding trouble to get into. The emails were great and gave us just a little insight as to what we were in for.

Dear Family,
Had a full day today. Got Indy's mom up early at 5:30 with the sounds of puppies puking. Ha ha, we wouldn't tell her who did it, but it wasn't really much of a mess. We're in a metal crate in her bedroom and when she let us out, we played really hard for almost 3 hours. We did do a lot of sleeping the reast of the day and we were really good when we took a trip to the lake this afternoon. We only made one mess in Indy's grandma's house. But we didn't get to swim, it was kind of cool here today. We ran mom ragged today so she didn't even get her camera out. She says that two puppies and a baby are TOO much. She says that, but then she cuddles me and I know she really likes me.
Well, better go. Just wanted to say hi and that I can't wait to meet you. It's nice here. There's a big yellow dog, but kinda ignores us. We decided tomorrow if he keeps ignoring us, that we might try to chew his tail. So anyway...can't wait to see you and even though it's nice here, I can't wait to come HOME!!

Hi Family,
I'm really tired, so I'm gonna go sack out, but I thought I'd share some of today's adventures and send a few pictures. The best thing that happened all day was at breakfast. Indy's mom was in the shower and her dad was fixing breakfast. He'd put the orange juice and silverware on the table already. Welllllll, Indy and I got hold of the tablecloth and pulled and pulled...it was hilarious! What a mess. Sigh. A classic, and I'm only 8 weeks old!
We got to play outside a lot today and we went back to the lake again. we pushed babies around and chewed their toys. We did get some new ones of our own that are pretty cool too. But we think it's more fun to steal someone else's.

Dear family,
Pretty average day by puppy standards. No real killer trouble. The big people aren't using a tablecloth anymore, so we couldn't repeat that stunt. We play, eat, sleep, repeat as necessary. That pretty much sums it up. We did run the big people ragged. They say they're pretty tired, but we're the ones doing all the running around, not sure what they're complaining about. No pics today...

Hellooooo Family,
Indy's mom sends her apologies for the delayed schedule, she says she's sooo sorry. She says that's one thing she hates about Mr. Mike's job, it's not very dependable for scheduling.
I had a good day today, we were outside a lot. We dug a big hole at the base of the birdfeeder pole and almost toppled it over, that was fun! And I went swimming in our water bowl!

In the last few days I've discovered...
....that there are treasures under beds
....that if I cry at the door, someone will let me outside...but that's usually too much trouble for me
....that it's really fun to run madly around and then jump on the bottom shelf of the coffee table and slide across
....that I can go down stairs by myself...by stepping with my front legs and with my back legs pread-eagled and sliding down
Well, Indy's mom just had a photo session canceled, so she should be able to get my picture done.
