I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while. Been very busy, then spring break, then my photography convention which was a blast and I learned so much and met so many wonderful people I just don't know where to begin. I'll post some pictures from my trip in another post.
Back to today. To quote a famous man..."Today is a day that will live in infamy"
Meagan has an official driver's license. No longer required to have one of us with her. And let me tell you, it scares the crap out of me! How did my parents live through this?? LOL
So here she is, driving away with the examiner from the driver's license office.

And here she is proudly showing off her new license.

We called grandparents, and although I'm sure my dad thought she was a complete flippant bubblehead, she was just so excited she could barely stay in her seat. Thank goodness we have been drilling stuff into her head...mainly that cars are much bigger and weigh much more than you think they do...and never underestimate the stupidity of the person in the other car.
You may wonder why she wasn't driving in that picture. Well, funny thing happened on testing day. It rained...and rained...then poured...then rained some more. I had her driving around town all day in the rain just be sure she wouldn't be nervous at test time. Then, wouldn't you know it, about 30 minutes before test time God decided to give her a break and it stopped raining and the sun came out for a beautiful afternoon. But, she was so wired from being worried about the test, then being so excited about passing, we decided it was best if I drove LOL.
After this big event, we went to meet a friend from Florida for dinner. Kay is up here for a class, and Rob was very excited to see someone from "home" and find out everything that's been happening at his old job. Found out what we already knew...he left at just the right time!
Anyway, it was kids night at Rainforest Cafe, so here are some shots of the kids and their balloon animals.

Here is the magician pulling a ball from Katie's ear

And Meagan playing a Deal or No Deal model for the magician :)

A picture of Rob where he didn't try to make a face at me! I really like it!

And last, but not least, here is Kay and Rob. I tried to get them to pose together, but they wouldn't cooperate, so this is what they get. :) But, it totally shows Kay's personality...lots of fun!
