Kids are a never ending source of entertainment. Especially when you get into conversations with them.
Conversation with Robbie this morning.
Robbie and Rob were talking about Guilia, an Italian exchange student who came over for dinner the other night (the night of Robbie's dance fest...see previous post)
Robbie: Do you like her?
Rob: She is very nice. Do you like her?
Robbie: NO!
Rob: Why not?
Robbie: Girls are weird!
Rob: Weird? What do you mean?
Robbie: Girls are just weird. I don't know.
Rob: Is Mommy weird?
Robbie: No.
Rob: Is Katie weird?
Robbie: Yes.
Rob: Is Meagan weird?
Robbie: Yes.
Rob: So all girls except Mommy are weird?
Robbie: Yes.
I'm glad I fall into the non-weird category. Although there are some who would argue with that.
Conversation with Katie this afternoon after she got off the bus.
Katie: Mom, do you know who I am thankful for?
Me: No, who?
Katie: I'm thankful for you and Daddy and Meagan, and the dead people.
Me: The dead people? What dead people?
Katie: You know, the dead people.
Me: Why are you thankful for the dead people?
Katie: I just feel sorry for them.
Who can argue with logic like that?
