Fall is here...well...sorta

I have to say, as much as I miss Florida sometimes, I LOVE the fall here in Tennessee. The colors just EXPLODE, especially after a rain like we've had the last couple of days.

The other day the kids had a field trip to the pumpkin farm, and they each got to bring home a pumpkin. So, tonight I promised to help them carve them. They did a pretty good job with their face designs, and with a little help from Mom and a lot of elbow grease getting the filling out of them (YUCK!) we have two very nice little jack 'o lanterns.
