She doesn't get it from me!

When Katie sits, she usually has some type of notepad with her and she is drawing, or practicing writing. Cool kid.

Well, today she was writing out addition problems. And solving them. Anything adding up to 10 or less (using fingers LOL) I was amazed. Yes she's 5. Yes she's in Kindergarten. This kid loves school.

This math thing is definitely her dad's genes at work LOL. He's the one with the engineering degree. I struggled with math all through school.

I should add that she's been home from school the last 2 days with a fever. I think she is missing it. Yesterday she was quizzing me on shapes and sight words LOL. She would write/draw them out and I had to tell her what they were.
