Birthday Time!!!

Well, as you know, Robbie and Katie turned 4 this weekend. I can't believe it!

A. I can't believe it's already been 4 years.
B. I can't believe how big they are and how easy they are to converse with, and some of the amazing things that come out of their mouths.
C. I can't believe it's only ONE MORE YEAR until KINDERGARTEN! WOOHOO!!! Happy dance!!

Just kidding. I'm sure I'll be all sappy and sad when they start school full time. For at least a day :)

Anyway, a good time was had by all. They were very happy to see boxes showing up on our doorstep all week as gifts arrived LOL. They got scooters, ballerina dance stuff, power ranger toys, great clothes that they really do like, an airplane that rolls around and has a spinning propeller, which Robbie took everywhere with him all weekend. It was much better after he figured out it didn't really fly and he quit trying to throw it in the air to get it airborne LOL. Katie has also enjoyed playing doctor with her new doctor set and bear.

Below are some present pictures.

And here is the aftermath. I know...some of you are thinking "so what's new".

And here they are trying out their new scooters.

We went out for pizza and cake with the twins down the street that have the same birthday.

Here they enjoyed watching the guy make pizzas. I think they were secretly hoping he would drop the dough when he was tossing it. The 3 children you don't recognize, from front to back, are Harrison (the younger brother of the twins) and Haynes and Hillary, the birthday buddies.

Katie wishing we would cut the cake already.

Robbie getting excited that the cake is coming!

Candle time! Complete with 4 sets of 4 candles :)

My children, looking remarkably civilized while they eat their cake. Very strange.

Haynes and Robbie hamming on the little stage they have for open mike night.

I guess this missive has gone on long enough. Suffice it to say, the kids had a great time, even behaved relatively well, and are already planning their next wish list LOL.
