We were a little worried when we started driving into "town". This is the Baptist Church that tells us we have reached the turnoff from the main road.

This is the view in the other direction.

And this is the road we turn on, between the 2 buildings, which I haven't figured out if they are actual residences, businesses, or both.

The view in either direction from the front of the subdivision

Are you getting the idea that we are expecting to hear roosters crowing in the morning? LOL Actually, there is a LOT of farm land around, but also a huge building explosion going on with housing going up all over.
FINALLY, we arrived at the house.

The view down our street

We got the truck unloaded and dropped off, and although we were all exhausted, we found an awesome rib place for dinner then came home and crashed.
Here is a picture of our first sunrise at the new house. It is out the back door.

Jack left us on Sunday (did I tell you he drove Rob's car up?) He was such a HUGE help to us, and we really missed him when he left. Robbie kept looking for him on the couch where he slept.

On Wednesday, Meagan was back in school, and Rob was back at work, so Robbie and Katie and I went exploring. Here are a couple of pictures. I bet it will be breathtaking in the Spring and the Fall.

The really nice thing about our location is we are sort of in the country, but we are no more than 15 minutes from anything we want to do, including going into Nashvile, which I am sure we will explore soon.
So that is our adventure, and here we are. They say they are having the 10th warmest winter on record here. But the temps still aren't getting out of the 50s during the day, and getting into the 30's at night. We've had one freezing night where we had ice on the cars, but no snow yet (thank goodness!).
That's all for now. Still so much to do!
